This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely billing across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience handling large volumes of data, and a solid understanding of construction billing practices.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Location: Charleston, SC (On-site)

Compensation: $70,000–$75,000/year

Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing processes for subcontractors across various construction projects.
• Prepare and process progress billings, final invoices, and change orders.
• Review contracts, work orders, and subcontractor agreements to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and provide supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Maintain organized records of billing activities and documentation.
• Assist in monthly reporting of billed and unbilled revenue.
• Reconcile project cost reports with contract terms and budgets.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Stay informed on industry billing practices and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
