Job summary

Roers Companies seeks an energetic Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the development and management of sourcing strategies for construction materials and subcontracted services. You will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and value across $150M–$200M of spend.

You will build strong cross-functional relationships and deliver competitive advantage through effective negotiations and strategic SRM programs within a growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar environments.
• 4+ years developing, negotiating, and implementing various contract types including supplier agreements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute annual sourcing initiatives for assigned construction categories based on plans and market conditions.
• Build collaborative relationships to define requirements for materials and subcontractor services balancing cost, quality, and schedule.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes and coordinate across preconstruction, construction, and procurement teams.
• Develop SRM programs with metrics, reviews, and corrective actions to improve supplier performance.
