Job summary

UCB is seeking a Global Category Lead - Engineering & Construction to shape sourcing strategy for major capital projects across a global network. You will lead procurement for engineering services, construction works, and installation services, balancing cost, quality, and risk.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, Sustainability, and Project Management to develop strategies, drive improvement, and ensure supply continuity while leading a team

Qualifications

Significant experience in strategic procurement and sourcing for engineering, infrastructure, or capital projects.
Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and complex negotiations.
Strong stakeholder management across functions, cultures, and geographies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Engineering & Construction aligned with investment priorities.
Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions worldwide.
Build relationships with engineering and construction partners to drive performance and value.
