Job summary

HNTB is seeking current or former interns for a Construction Rep role across multiple project sites. You will provide construction site field and office support during construction phases, assisting the Resident Engineer and project team with data, drawings, and reporting.

Expect involvement with QA/QC, testing, and coordination of deliverables to maintain schedule integrity. The position emphasizes understanding plans and specs, performing basic calculations, and using MS Office; experience

Qualifications

• Associates degree in relevant field and 2 years relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Engineer with project tasks and reports; manage RFI, submittal, and pay estimate logs.
• Coordinate quality control inspections and testing.
• Review drawings and specs; identify discrepancies and ensure conformance.
• Support field tasks to ensure plans and specs are followed on site.
• Maintain project data, drawings, and specifications; assist in progress reporting.
