Job summary

HNTB is seeking current or former interns to support construction projects across multiple locations in the United States. The role focuses on providing field and office support during construction phases, applying construction engineering techniques, and assisting the Resident Engineer with project documentation and reporting.

You will coordinate testing, quality control inspections, and progress tracking, while maintaining drawings, specifications, and daily reports.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications.
• Performs basic math and quality control checks.
• Familiar with MS Office and basic project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with office management tasks such as agendas and minutes.
• Support field work to ensure conformance to plans and specs.
• Coordinate quality control inspections and material testing.
• Review on-site reports and document project progress.
• Provide data entry for RFIs, submittals, and pay estimates.
• Assist Resident Engineer and communicate construction issues to the team.
