Job summary

Securus Safety Solutions LLC seeks a seasoned on-site safety leader to drive proactive risk management and ensure OSHA construction standards compliance on active sites. You will lead field safety efforts, oversee PSMP adherence, and coordinate with teams and subcontractors to reinforce safety expectations.

Responsibilities include hazard assessments, incident investigations, and safety training, with a focus on high-risk activities and rigorous documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 consecutive years dedicated solely to building construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 510, OSHA 500, or OSHA 502 certification required and must be current within 5 years.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required.
• Practical knowledge of fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined spaces, and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety efforts and risk management for construction projects.
• Support PSMP implementation, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and weekly safety meetings.
• Review JHAs, permits, and subcontractor safety documentation.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, crane ops, electrical work, and fall protection.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting.
• Collaborate with project leadership, subcontractors, and owner reps to reinforce site safety.
• Enforce project safety requirements and corrective actions; exercise stop-work authority when needed.
