Job summary

Securus Safety Solutions LLC is seeking a on-site Safety Lead to drive proactive risk management and ensure full OSHA construction standards compliance on a major project in Texas. You will lead field safety activities, perform hazard assessments, and coordinate with owners and subcontractors to reinforce safety expectations.

The role requires extensive construction safety experience, current OSHA certifications, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 consecutive years dedicated solely to building construction safety.
• 4-year degree in a construction safety discipline with at least 1 year field experience.
• CSP, CHST, or equivalent certifications may count toward experience.
• OSHA 510, 500, or 502 certifications current within 5 years.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Safety Management Plan implementation.
• Conduct daily field inspections and hazard assessments.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Review JHAs, permits, and subcontractor safety docs.
• Monitor high-risk activities (excavation, crane, electrical, fall protection).
• Maintain safety documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership, subcontractors, owner reps on safety.
• Enforce safety requirements in the field and stop-work when needed.
