Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services is seeking a Field Safety Representative to support field operations, promote a proactive safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across active construction sites. The role involves extensive travel, coaching workers, and conducting safety inspections to prevent incidents.

The position requires 3–5 years of construction safety experience, knowledge of OSHA 1926, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Understanding of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards and DOT regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Ability to coach field personnel and subcontractors on safe work practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections of construction projects, facilities, yards, and equipment.
• Perform jobsite audits to verify compliance with OSHA, DOT, customer, and company safety requirements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to field employees, supervisors, and subcontractors regarding safe work practices.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and implement timely corrective actions with operations.
• Lead and participate in incident, injury, vehicle accident, and near-miss investigations.
