Job summary

Doggett Concrete Construction is seeking a Field Safety Specialist to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across projects in the Southeast U.S. You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, provide safety-related training, and support project leadership in maintaining a safe work environment.

You will conduct site safety audits, monitor use of safety apps, coordinate incident investigations, and maintain training records.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in safety coordination on a major construction site.
• Preferred OSHA 500 certification.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety Manual and OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926 and 1910).
• Proficient in creating and maintaining personnel records and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction site and safety audits and debrief leadership on issues and commendables.
• Ensure field leaders use current safety apps and conduct daily inspections.
• Provide safety training and contribute to incident and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and maintain safety program documentation and training certifications.
• Attend safety meetings and represent Doggett Concrete in a professional manner.
