Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Safety Coordinator to safeguard workers across projects and drive Clark’s Culture of Care. You will support safety policies within operations or affiliate companies, collaborating with senior leaders to manage risk and program administration.

Ideal candidates pursue an undergraduate degree in OH&S, construction management, or related fields, with expected Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation, and have a passion for construction safety.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or a master's in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or related field, with expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Passion and interest in the construction industry.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety programs and federal, state and local safety standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching for employees and contractors.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Identify hazards and advise on corrective actions for compliance.
• Conduct site-walks and report safety performance and plans.
• Coordinate safety reviews, including OSHA, with field supervision.
• Work with supervision on complex safety aspects like lifts, hazardous materials, fire prevention, and evacuation.
