Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to help safeguard the health and well-being of workers across jobsites. You will work with senior leaders to enforce safety programs, manage risk, and promote Clark's Culture of Care.

You will implement site-specific safety plans, coach teams on OSHA requirements, and coordinate third-party reviews, including OSHA assessments. This entry-level role is ideal for someone pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree with a winter 2026 or spring

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or master's) in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 trained, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe working practices and ensure well-being on Clark projects.
• Enforce safety and health programs per federal, state, and local standards.
• Coach and educate employees and contractors on occupation safety requirements.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Identify hazards and advise on mitigation to ensure compliance.
• Conduct site-walks and report on safety performance and future plans.
• Plan complex safety aspects with field supervision, including lifts, hazardous materials, fire prevention, and evacuation.
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA.
