• Experience in commercial casualty underwriting, large deductible and national account programs.
• Ability to analyze risks, loss history and financials for pricing and coverage.
• Proven experience building broker/agency relationships and generating new business.
• Strong business acumen with data-driven underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite multi-line construction accounts within territory, following guidelines and authority.
• Develop broker/client relationships and communicate Safety National's value.
• Evaluate submissions, financials, loss history and quotes for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with actuarial, legal and claims to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor underwriting staff and contribute to department knowledge.
