• Develops specialized endorsement language for complex risks.
• Determines pricing for complex risks in line with financial and regulatory requirements.
• Gives input on underwriting policy and pricing strategy.
• Analyzes profitability of the risks underwritten and reports to management.
• Markets products through agencies or brokerage networks and visits field offices.
• Nurtures agency/broker relationships in the assigned territory for profitable outcomes.
• Keeps abreast of state/territory issues, trends and regulations.
• Mentors less experienced underwriters and supports underwriting training.
• Uses CNA systems to perform day-to-day underwriting activities.
