CNA Insurance seeks an experienced underwriter for a senior contributor role responsible for managing a complex book of business. You will assess, price, and monitor highly complex risks, while developing endorsement language and policy direction.

Strong collaboration with agencies and mentors will be part of daily activities. Requires eight years of underwriting experience and aBachelor’s degree with potential for professional designations.

Responsabilités

• Performs a combination of duties per guidelines; analyzes highly complex risks.
• Develops specialized endorsement language for complex risks.
• Determines pricing for complex risks in line with financial and regulatory requirements.
• Gives input on underwriting policy and pricing strategy.
• Analyzes profitability of the risks underwritten and reports to management.
• Markets products through agencies or brokerage networks and visits field offices.
• Nurtures agency/broker relationships in the assigned territory for profitable outcomes.
• Keeps abreast of state/territory issues, trends and regulations.
• Mentors less experienced underwriters and supports underwriting training.
• Uses CNA systems to perform day-to-day underwriting activities.
