Job Skills / Requirements

• Must have own personal vehicle and driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must pass a drug screening and background checks, including criminal and driving records.
• Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
• Working cell phone to make hourly wellness calls and report incidents.

Scope

Uniform Security Officers protect construction sites' buildings, equipment, grounds, assets, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities include utilizing personal vehicles and cell phones for reporting, conducting patrols, monitoring for suspicious activities, and ensuring site security according to specific guidelines.

Schedule (2 Openings)

• Part-time 2nd shift (2 pm - 10 pm), weekends
• Part-time 3rd shift (6 pm - 6 am or 10 pm - 6 am), various days including weekends

Compensation

• Rate: $17.43/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers, and co-workers.
• Manage guard posts, including outdoor and indoor locations.
• Use personal cell phones for hourly wellness checks during overnight shifts.
• Perform hourly interior and exterior patrols, checking security points and equipment.
• Prevent unauthorized access and verify IDs.
• Monitor for suspicious activities and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Must have a working cell phone.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond to emergencies for 8-12 hours, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good vision (at least 20 feet), hearing, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
• Complete required training and adhere to policies.
