Job summary

CPI Security is seeking a New Construction Security Installation Technician to install residential security systems and identify additional needs for customers. You will work closely with homeowners to ensure a flawless start-to-finish installation and demonstrate the system’s capabilities.

Responsibilities include conducting initial home walkthroughs for optimal configurations, upselling where appropriate, and maintaining safety and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Install new construction residential security systems accurately and efficiently
• Meet or exceed performance goals consistently
• Perform initial home walkthrough to determine optimal system configuration and upsell opportunities
• Keep customer informed about installation steps and any drilling or wiring needs
• Design a system that meets customer needs through needs analysis
• Connect in-home system to central monitoring, activate and demonstrate to customer
• Submit billing and payroll paperwork timely and accurately
• Maintain safety and avoid injury or property damage
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Consult with management on issues or concerns
• Clean up work area after installation
