Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road in Texas is seeking a Scheduling Manager to support our civil, commercial and industrial construction projects in the Austin/San Antonio area.

The ideal candidate will develop and manage project schedules, coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and provide training on P6. A BS in Civil Eng or Construction Management and experience with Primavera P6 are required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (required).
• Experience using Primavera P6 (Oracle) to develop and manage project schedules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summary-level schedules for proposed projects, establishing sequencing, durations, and logic.
• Prepare detailed schedules and monitor progress against baselines.
• Develop and analyze man-hour, equipment, and cost-loaded, time-phased schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of equipment and materials.
• Provide schedule updates and assess variances; propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide scheduling training and technical support on P6 to project staff.
