Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, a leading division of Austin Industries, is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead project scheduling in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will create and maintain schedules for heavy highway and related projects, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include applying Primavera P6, analyzing resources and progress, and providing training on scheduling fundamentals. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy highway/civil aviation construction.
• Experience using Primavera P6 (Oracle) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summary-level schedules for proposed projects and coordinate with the team.
• Develop detailed schedules and monitor progress against baselines.
• Analyze resources and time-phased schedules for projects.
• Provide schedules with contracts or bid documents to subs and suppliers.
• Update progress and communicate schedule variances and mitigations.
• Train personnel on schedule fundamentals and Primavera P6.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
