Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Scheduler CORE to collaboratively develop and update project schedules with the project team. You will review schedules, participate in all planning phases, and utilize JE Dunn scheduling software to align with lean planning and pull plans.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and construction knowledge. Education includes a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and reading plans/drawings.
• Can identify scheduling concerns during site visits and propose sequencing improvements.
• Knowledge of schedule logic and sequencing.
• Understanding means and methods of construction management.
• Proficient in scheduling software.
• Familiar with Lean process and philosophy.
• Ability to import schedules into JE Dunn scheduling software.
• Able to build collaborative relationships within project teams.
• Able to collaborate internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, build and update project schedules with the project team.
• Conduct schedule reviews and communicate comments diplomatically.
• Participate in all phases of scheduling, including baseline and ongoing updates.
• Utilize JE Dunn scheduling software.
• Assist with training and development for scheduling.
• Develop best practices for planning and scheduling.
• Visit job sites to review status and update schedules.
• Attend project or jobsite meetings as schedule-focused.
• Support Lean and pull planning alignment with CPM schedules.
• Prepare and contribute to project reports as required.
