Job summary

Whitecap is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to deliver and continually improve programs for newly hired Account Managers in the construction materials sector. The role focuses on in-person sessions, curriculum enhancement, and ensuring participants gain foundational sales skills and product knowledge essential for success.

You will design engaging learning components, conduct hands-on demonstrations, and apply effective facilitation to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in a related discipline; 5-8 years experience in a related field or MS/MA with 3-5 years experience.
• Ability to present and facilitate training in classroom or group settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and industry practices.
• Experience applying adult learning principles and curriculum design (ADDIE).

Responsibilities

• Delivers instructor-led training programs for newly hired Account Managers, twice per month.
• Develops and refines training curriculum to align with sales strategies and product knowledge.
• Uses hands-on product demos and interactive exercises to support learning and retention.
• Shares industry best practices in construction supply sales, customer engagement, and consultative selling.
• Delivers training on construction products to build foundational understanding of applications and value propositions.
• Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation skills to engage diverse audiences.
• Supports delivery strategy to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
