Job summary

RDC Paving is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to own relationships with a defined client group and drive revenue growth in the paving sector. You will manage retention, growth, and strategic business development across accounts.

The ideal candidate understands the full construction process from bidding and estimating to project execution and can clearly communicate RDC Paving's capabilities to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience in construction services.
• Experience selling asphalt or concrete is preferred.
• Ability to sell to Manager and Director levels within organizations.
• Experience managing entire project cycle from start to close.
• Strategic in finding new business with technical knowledge.
• Experience creating quarterly and annual business plans.
• Strong communication, credibility and forecasting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Tech orientation to use CRM, bid prep and job cost software.

Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing clients to demonstrate value of our portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships to drive retention and repeat business.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management on proposals.
• Participate in bid reviews and preconstruction meetings to align scope.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and report market opportunities.
• Attend industry events to promote services and build networks.
• Provide feedback to management on market opportunities and improvements.
