Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Specialist to coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine and complex construction projects in Mesa, AZ. You will conduct safety inspections, document abatement of hazards, write reports and perform trend analysis to support the project teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of construction safety experience, a bachelor’s degree in safety-related field or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office and safety software.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in safety/health or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement field safety programs for routine projects.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Prepare reports and perform trend analysis on safety data.
• Oversee new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Support safety leadership during audits and meetings.
