Qualifications

• 5+ years construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local and company safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conduct regular walk-through inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits on projects, document abatements, and track closure.
• Oversee new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Monitor prime contractor and subcontractor safety programs.
• Attend project-related safety meetings and lead safety committee activities.
• Investigate project-related accidents and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with injured employees and clinics to ensure timely return-to-work.
• Monitor site safety incentive programs and safety metrics.
