Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to coordinate and implement the field safety program across routine and complex construction projects.

You will conduct inspections, document hazards, perform trend analysis, and partner with project teams to enforce safety compliance and continuous improvement within our Safety Manager framework. This role requires strong leadership, audits, training, and the ability to influence safe work practices on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction safety experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety/health-related field preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Proficiency in safety software/tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implements the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conduct regular walk-through inspections to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits and document abatement of hazards and trends.
• Oversee safety training and orientation for new hires and project teams.
