Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent combinations of training and experience.
• 5+ years of safety and health experience in construction preferred.
• CHST certification required; ICS 300/400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide safety training to personnel.
• Support pre-job safety planning and emergency response planning.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
• Conduct safety and health audits, inspections, and observations.
• Assist in injury/illness/general liability investigations.
• Prepare regular safety and health correspondence.
• Update teams on regulatory changes.
• Identify staff needing assistance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors and vendors.
• Serve as contact for OSHA and other authorities when Safety Manager is unavailable.
