The position requires 0–2 years of construction safety experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field, with strong knowledge of safety regulations and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/health preferred or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years construction safety experience required.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conducts walk-through inspections to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Performs safety audits and documents abatement actions for hazards.
• Oversees new hire safety orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Monitors prime contractor/subcontractor safety programs and meetings.
• Investigates accidents and recommends process changes to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinates with clinics for worker treatment and return-to-work timelines.
• Supports safety program in meetings, committees and activities.
