Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years construction or related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in safety/health preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conducts site safety inspections and audits for compliance with laws and company policies.
• Identifies hazardous conditions and recommends abatements.
• Oversees new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Monitors safety program implementation by prime contractors and subcontractors.
• Attends project meetings to discuss safety matters and supports safety program activities.
