Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional in Virginia to oversee construction safety, health, and risk management across multiple projects. You will develop site-specific safety plans and lead the ORM process, coordinating with general contractors and clients to ensure compliant, safe operations.

The role requires extensive S&H experience, OSHA/DOT compliance familiarity, and the ability to plan, train, and report on safety activities. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting S&H training and regulatory compliance per 1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1.
• Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill and experience.
• Familiar with ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100.
• Willingness to pursue ASP, CSP, CHST designations.
• Previous electrical/construction/industrial/federal and commercial S&H experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Project Safety, Health & Risk Management across multiple programs.
• Develop and implement site-specific Safety plans and ORM processes.
• Lead ORM team to review and create project safety plans per specs.
• Coordinate with GC/owner on site conditions and NCN.
• Advise on mitigation plans, S&H training, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans, permits, and project requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and reporting.
