Job summary

Omega Morgan is seeking a Safety Manager in Irving, TX, to oversee all company safety disciplines and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role reports to the Safety Director and drives risk assessment, incident management, training, and audits across field and facility operations.

The role requires 3+ years in leadership, crane and rigging safety experience, and a strong background in OSHA/DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge in the industry.
• Environmental health and safety management experience in the heavy construction industry preferred.
• 2-3 years of crane and rigging safety protocols.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity with proven experience in developing and implementing strategic company-wide safety programs.
• Adept at using various computer applications, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of occupational safety & health, including OSHA, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of EHS Program & Policies.
• Advise and coach the team regarding safety protocols, programs, policies & procedures, and training.
• Provide proactive leadership and vision in reducing safety and health risk exposure.
• Conduct site safety audits, mentoring employees on unsafe conditions and hazard observations.
• Maintain open communication with internal and external individuals and agencies on safety issues.
