Qualifications

• Several years of experience in rigging operations.
• Strong background in machinery moving, construction, industrial settings, or maritime environments.
• Familiarity with crane operations, load calculations, and lift planning is essential.
• Commitment to safety protocols, regulations, and able to implement safety measures effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide a diverse workforce.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and enforce strict safety protocols for crew and equipment.
• Ensure foremen complete daily pre-task meetings and track JSAs as needed.
• Coordinate crews to reach customer facilities with required tools and equipment.
• Assist crews in gathering additional tools and preparing lift plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, and dispatch on plans and site conditions.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment and lifting devices.
• Ensure DOT compliance and adherence to manufacturer recommendations and industry regulations.
