Job summary

Omega Morgan, Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety professional to lead site safety programs and training across our construction projects.

You will implement policies, conduct audits, and coordinate risk assessments to foster a proactive safety culture. The role requires strong leadership, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to communicate clear safety concepts to diverse teams on site.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge in the industry.
• OSHA 30, Train-the-Trainer Forklift and Rigging.
• CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or equivalent preferred.
• Environmental health and safety management experience in heavy construction.
• Minimum of three years in a leadership capacity developing safety programs.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and policies.
• Advise and coach the team regarding safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures, and training.
• Provide proactive leadership in reducing safety and health risk exposure.
• Support and administer incident investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions.
• Conduct site safety audits and safety observations.
• Maintain health and safety plans prepared for customers.
• Respond to safety, health, and environmental complaints and OSHA consultations.
• May accompany an injured employee for treatment and evaluation.
