Job summary

Omega Morgan seeks a Safety Specialist in El Paso, TX to lead safety program development, training, and incident management. The role supports risk assessment, safety audits, and regulatory compliance, with a shift from 4:30 PM to 3 AM on weekdays.

The ideal candidate will drive a culture of safety across field and facility operations. The position requires OSHA-knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients to minimize risk and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent in the industry.
• OSHA 30 and Forklift/Rigging training.
• CHST or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a leadership capacity developing safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and policies.
• Advise and coach teams on safety protocols and training to sustain safety vision.
• Lead reduction of safety and health risk exposure with hazard analysis and controls.
• Administer event management including incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Conduct site safety audits and mentor employees on safe practices.
• Maintain EHS training and training database; assist with 3rd party qualifications.
• Prepare and maintain health and safety plans for customers.
• Respond to safety, health, and environmental complaints and OSHA compliance issues.
