Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management on site. You will develop, implement, and lead site safety plans while coordinating with project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to regulations and safety targets.

The role requires hands-on experience with OSHA standards, risk assessments, and incident investigations. A proactive approach and strong communication are essential for success in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering safety training and regulatory compliance for construction sites (OSHA 1910/1926).
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems, ANSI/Z10, ISO 31000 and related standards.
• Willingness to pursue ASP/CSP/CHST certifications and grow in safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with customers, project teams, and contractors to discuss mitigation plans, S&H training, and technical reports.
• Assist with Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans to meet safety specs.
• Assist with site safety budgets, permits, and ensure compliance with contract, plans, and specifications.
• Lead the ORM team in developing project safety plans based on client specifications and regulations; conduct investigations.
• Coordinate with GC/owner on site conditions and NCNs; ensure regulatory compliance.
