Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to support construction safety at project sites in Washington. The role may require travel with per diem and a travel incentive bonus. Expect a 10 days on site followed by 4 days off, with travel paid to and from home.

Requirements include a 4-year degree in safety or related fields, OSHA 30-hour construction certification, and 5+ years in safety management on commercial projects. CSP/CIH credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour construction certificate is preferred.
• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement Injury Illness Prevention Program on assigned projects.
• Advise and audit project safety systems and participate in kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate with project/safety teams to anticipate upcoming work activities and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct site safety walks, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Attend project meetings and assist in distribution of meeting minutes.
• Develop practical safety solutions with field teams.
