Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to oversee safety programs for commercial construction in Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA. You will lead safety objectives, mentor project teams, and drive incident investigations while partnering with regional leaders.

Requirements include 5+ years in safety management on commercial builds, OSHA/NFPA 70E and LOTO knowledge, and a four-year degree in a related field (preferred). This is a full‑time, on‑site role with travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in safety management for commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E and LOTO requirements.
• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety objectives aligned with company strategy.

• Maintain safety status of regional projects and conduct site visits.
• Lead safety trainings and develop content.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
