Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager for various projects in the United States, including travel to project sites. You will develop and enforce safety programs to meet OSHA and regulatory requirements while reducing injuries and losses.

You will inspect sites, lead audits, conduct investigations, train staff, and coordinate with project teams. The role requires at least five years of field safety experience and OSHA 30; OSHA 500 preferred; MSHA/HAZWOPER may be required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of field safety experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• MSHA and HAZWOPER certification may be required at some sites.
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly with team.

Responsabilidades

• Observe job performance and identify hazards to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Identify conditions that could cause accidents and communicate with operations.
• Conduct post-accident investigations and recommend preventions.
• Train staff on safety and new employee orientation.
• Visit sites weekly to audit and address hazards.
• Inspect Thompson vehicles/equipment for road worthiness.
• Assist in pre-job/shutdown planning with the Project Manager.
• Build relationships with crews and address concerns.
• Attend customer safety meetings.
• Counsel employees for policy infractions.
