Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Manager, Construction Safety to lead safety efforts across capital projects including pipelines, compressor stations, terminals, and processing facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of construction safety experience in pipeline, midstream, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• CHST certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of API, ASME, AWS standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction safety leadership across assigned capital projects from planning to completion.
• Lead constructability reviews, planning meetings, and contractor selection to mitigate risks.
• Review safety plans, JHAs/AHAs, and site-specific safety programs.
• Maintain a strong field presence to verify compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce company policies.
• Identify hazards in welding, excavation, rigging, confined space, hydrotesting, and commissioning.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Coach contractors and crews on hazard recognition and safe work practices.
