Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest in Chandler, AZ seeks a Safety Manager to direct and implement the safety program across multiple Phoenix-area projects. The role focuses on creating a safe, healthy, accident-free environment by leading audits, training, and incident investigations.

You will collaborate with operations leadership to continuously improve the safety program, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage employees in proactive safety practices at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects in the Phoenix Tri-city area
• Engage with customers and general contractors during routing audits
• Point of contact for jobsite safety audits on all assigned projects
• Timely and accurate data entry for safety reports and systems
• Ensure all incidents are added to the company database
• Maintain safety training documentation electronically
• Attend safety and foremen meetings and document minutes
• Promote a proactive safety culture at all levels
• Highlight safety program metrics and improvement opportunities
• Conduct site inspections, hazard observations, and audits
• Inspect jobsite tools for compliance
• Deliver safety training on regulations and hazard prevention
• Ensure OSHA postings and safety equipment are properly displayed
• Review site safety reports for completeness and accuracy
• Document root cause analysis for incidents and corrective actions
• Provide information and warnings to prevent hazards
