Southland Industries is seeking a safety-focused professional to support the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection construction projects in Tempe, AZ. The role emphasizes field-based compliance, training, and incident reporting to keep sites safe and productive.

You will help manage tailgate safety meetings, maintain MSDS records, and coordinate training and certification processes. A collaborative team player with initiative will thrive here.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project-site tasks comply with safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Assist in implementing and distributing safety tailgate meetings.
• Maintain MSDS records and safety manuals for distribution.
• Distribute certification cards for industrial equipment training and track records.
• Report and manage vehicle, workers' compensation, and safety-related incidents.
• Support in the Corporate Safety Award Program implementation.
• Assist in driving training, coaching, and safety communications.
