Job summary

You will enforce OSHA standards, lead safety programs, conduct inspections, and coordinate with project teams to ensure a zero-incident environment. The ideal candidate holds BCSP certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST), has construction or industrial safety experience, and can lead trainings and toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCSP certifications (CSP/ASP/CHST).
• Proven experience as Safety Manager, Safety Specialist, or similar in construction/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and project-specific safety standards.
• Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, site safety rules, and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field teams to promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support emergency response planning and safety improvement initiatives.
