Job summary

M.C. Dean invites applications for a Construction Safety intern to gain hands-on experience across safety management systems and project safety leadership. You will work closely with project teams to support the ORM process and accident prevention plan implementation.

Responsibilities include conducting safety training, assisting with investigations, documenting procedures, and handling safety administration tasks while being mentored by a safety professional.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an EHS-related BS degree (sophomore–senior).
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Experience delivering S&H training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing the Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H) and Operational Risk Management processes.
• Support site-specific Accident Prevention Plan implementation and ORM leadership.
• Assist with orientations, incident investigations, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain document control for standard operating procedures and safety records.
• Support monitoring and measurement processes and other safety administrative tasks.
