Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Construction Safety Intern to assist with safety program elements, audits, and ORM implementation across multiple project sites. You will collaborate with Project Management, Safety Management, and Field Management to advance accident prevention and risk controls.

Interns gain exposure to OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and safety training while supporting administrative tasks, orientations, and incident investigations across several Virginia and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and health standards and OSHA regulations.
• Currently enrolled in a Safety and Health/Occupational Safety degree (ABET-accredited).
• Experience with safety management systems and training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Construction Safety, Health, and ORM processes.
• Help implement site Accident Prevention Plans and conduct audits.
• Collaborate with PM, Safety, and Field Management on ORM.
• Assist with orientations, investigations, training, document control, and safety admin tasks.
