Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. offers a Construction Safety intern program designed to immerse you in safety management systems, ORM processes, and site safety duties across multiple locations in Virginia and nearby states.

You will work under a mentor to support project safety, audits, and training, while gaining hands-on experience in OSHA/ANSI standards, incident investigations, and safety documentation control.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an EHS-related BS degree (sophomore to senior).
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI‑Z10, EM‑385, and ISO 31000 safety systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.
• S&H training experience and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Previous electrical/construction S&H experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and ORM processes.
• Support Accident Prevention Plan implementation and audits.
• Coordinate orientations, investigations, and safety trainings.
• Administer document control for SOPs; assist monitoring and measurement.
• Support safety administrative tasks as needed.
