Job summary

• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental principles.
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
• Flexible to work standard hours and overtime as required.

• Proactive, eager to learn and participate.
• Able to work independently with supervision and in a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills (MS Office).
• Limited travel may be required, access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing safety programs and project safety plans.
• Identify and report safety violations or unsafe practices.
• Coordinate safety duties for committees, preplanning and toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate trainings at safety meetings and orientations.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with company policies.
• Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with drug screening program administration.
• Assist with preconstruction meetings and meetings documentation.
• Assist with site/work area inspections and develop inspection summaries.
• Maintain safety records and OSHA-related documentation.
• Assist with worker orientations and participation tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned under supervision.
