Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university program with at least 1 year completed.
• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental principles.
• Willingness to work standard hours and overtime when needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing Building LIFE safety program on site and in office under supervision.
• Identify and report safety violations or imminent hazards.
• Coordinate safety duties for safety committees, preplanning meetings, and toolbox talks.
• Assist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and orientations.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for completeness and policy compliance.
• Promote safe work practices and conditions per regulations and client requirements.
• Assist with drug screening program administration as required.
• Assist with preconstruction meetings and meeting documentation.
• Perform site/work area inspections and develop inspection summaries.
• Maintain safety records and incident investigations data.
