Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field with at least 1 year of coursework.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills from leadership, volunteering, or school activities.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety program implementation on construction projects or offices.
• Identify and report safety violations or imminent dangers.
• Coordinate safety duties for committees, preplanning, and toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate training at safety meetings and orientations.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance.
• Promote safe work practices in line with regulations and owner requirements.
• Assist with drug screening program administration per requirements.
• Help with preconstruction meetings and document meetings.
• Support jobsite inspections and develop inspection summaries.
• Maintain safety records and incident metrics.
