Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an on-site EHS Manager to lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities for a major Colorado Springs construction project. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field, 8+ years of construction safety experience including leadership, and strong OSHA knowledge.

This full-time on-site position involves coaching, training, inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of construction safety experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience managing EHS programs on large, complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and construction safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CHST, CSP, OHST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site, full-time EHS Manager for the project, beginning prior to mobilization.
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the project’s EHS program.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of all Contractor and Trade Partner EHS Professionals.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and technical expertise to project leadership and field teams.
• Ensure all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions are reported, investigated, and resolved.
• Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings as required.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Collaborate with client EHS representatives and participate in EHS meetings, reviews, and planning sessions.
• Support workforce engagement by promoting a strong safety culture across all project teams.
