The role involves calling vendors, researching suppliers, negotiating pricing, coordinating schedules, and ensuring resources are available to meet deadlines. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Vendor & subcontractor management: research and recruit qualified subcontractors; verify licenses, insurance, and certifications; obtain competitive bids; maintain database; build relationships; coordinate scheduling.
• Material procurement: source construction and restoration materials; compare pricing; place purchase orders; coordinate deliveries; track backorders; research alternatives.
• Project coordination: assist Project Managers with admin tasks; coordinate inspections and deliveries; follow up with vendors; update project management software; organize project docs; track purchase orders and invoices.
• Office support: answer vendor inquiries; make outbound calls; research products; obtain specs and safety data sheets; assist with special projects.
