Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior leader to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

In this Quality Manager III role, you will build a QC organization, lead audits, approve QC plans, report metrics monthly, and coach staff while navigating audits with owners and agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification (ICC Special Inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with owner programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans, ITPs, and lab/subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
