Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Quality Inspector I for the DFW project in Dallas, TX. You will help ensure construction work meets contract quality requirements through inspections, testing, and thorough documentation.

You will support quality managers, perform field inspections, and conduct material testing with appropriate certifications. Travel to project sites is expected and necessary for daily QA/QC operations.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 5 years of QA/QC experience.
• Certifications for testing/inspection as required by contract.
• High school diploma required; technical college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Managers with quality management tasks (tests, inspections, submittals, procedures).
• Perform field inspections to ensure contract compliance and document results.
• Conduct material testing (concrete, soils, masonry, steel) with qualified certs.
• Assist safety reviews (THA/TQA, JHA) and raise quality/safety concerns proactively.
• Verify material certifications and ensure proper storage and handling per specs.
