Job summary

The Walsh Group, Walsh Construction & Archer Western, seeks a Construction Quality Manager for the Water Division in Goodyear, AZ. You will drive quality management systems and project-specific quality programs, ensuring design and construction align with company policies and contract requirements.

You will mentor staff, lead QC processes, establish KPIs, oversee inspections and audits, manage risk, and coordinate with operations, safety and clients to deliver safe, high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• AEC Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related field experience with relevant certifications.
• Current quality management certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a Quality role.
• Willingness to travel for projects as necessary.
• Knowledge of standards, specifications and publications related to job duties.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for a project or multiple projects, ensuring quality of works and documentation.
• Coaches and trains project staff in quality management principles and requirements.
• Lead and manage quality processes such as work planning, material management and inspections.
• Establish, monitor and report KPIs and QIRs to drive continuous improvement.
• Routinely audit project quality programs and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Direct inspections, testing and documentation coordination with ops, labs and client.
• Develop project-specific inspection/test plans and quality control procedures.
• Contribute to risk management strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors and design partners.
• Support Site Safety to ensure adherence to safety procedures and goals.
